This translates into our Vision

To promote the University locally: As proud members of an elite alumni association, we know the value of the education we earned at our alma mater. It is our vision that by promoting The University of Texas locally - through scholarship programs, visible networking and social events, through our charitable works and fundraisers - we can show our local community and employers that the University of Texas breeds a special group of individuals. We hope our efforts shine within the community at large and continue to make a degree from University of Texas an esteemed and sought-after asset.

To provide an opportunity for fellowship: Texans are a social bunch, by nature - and the Kansas City chapter is no different. We love getting together with our fellow Longhorns and Longhorn fans to watch sporting events, toast our personal and professional victories, play in the park, celebrate holidays, and we love any excuse to socialize. Our vision is to offer a variety of social and networking events for our local alumni and their families - as well as for Longhorn fans and supporters. The friends and colleagues we make through the Texes Exes association are special bonds.

To give back to our community: Kansas City isn't Austin, but it means just as much to us. We have a rich variety of experiences and skill sets afforded to us by attending The University of Texas. We have much to offer to our community and our vision is to provide scholarship funds to local students wishing to share our heritage and to offer up our skills, time and influence to make Kansas City and surrounding communities the best to live.
